Locally Led and Community-Owned
CMA seeks to place communities at the centre of assessment, planning and decision-making. Participation, community validation, transparent targeting and locally defined priorities help ensure interventions respond to real needs and strengthen local institutions.
Integrated, Mobility-Aware Programming
CMA connects climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, livelihoods, protection and durable solutions. The design of each intervention considers how climate, conflict, markets, social inclusion and mobility influence one another.
A Quality-Focused Project Cycle
- Analyze the climate, protection, conflict, market, gender and mobility context.
- Design with communities, including safeguards, targeting, budgets and a MEAL plan.
- Mobilize teams, partners, procurement, baselines and community information.
- Deliver with monitoring, accessible feedback, responsible financial control and adaptation.
- Learn and close through review, evaluation, handover and sustainability follow-up.
Accountability to Affected People
CMA seeks safe and accessible channels for questions, complaints and feedback. Sensitive issues follow restricted, confidential referral pathways. Community feedback is used to improve quality and responsiveness.
